Cord Heritage is the journey of E.L. Cord, an American industrialist, and his remarkable impact on the rich history of the emerging transportation industries of mid-century America.
His story will be told through a series of wearables, visual art, and sculpture, highlighting E.L.’s amazing accomplishments in the automotive, aviation, and marine industries of that
golden era.
Each handcrafted piece of art will be made in a limited edition. Whether it is a specific model of a vehicle, a breakthrough in design, technology, or ground-breaking styling cue,
each design will document a highpoint of that particular endeavor originally spearheaded by E.L. Cord himself.
The story will be told through the art, known as the Cord Collection, by E.L. Cord’s great grandson, Bill Cord. Bill and his team will design and manufacture all of the items offered
in the Cord Collection. Bill’s goal is to highlight the legacy of achievements of his great grandfather for present and future generations who want to own a piece of that history.
Throughout the year, a selected number of releases will be available. Please check here, or at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum’s website to find the most recent releases from the
Cord Collection.
Enjoy. Sincerely,
William H. Cord
